Hyundai Construction Equipment India has launched a new excavator in India. Called the R210-7v, the excavator comes equipped with mechatronics for optimized fuel consumption and productivity apart from offering lowest operating cost for 20-22 tonne class excavators. The seamless matching of workloads with power requirement saves up to 7 to 10% fuel per hour and ensures enhanced earnings per dig. The machine is attractively priced in the Indian CE market and is expected to generate an enthusiastic response from the end users.
In addition to the R210-7v, the company also showcased the technologically advanced R210-9 excavator, which conforms to the strategy of migration to 9 Series products. Like the R210-7v, the R210-9 also offers 7 to 10% fuel savings, and 8 to 14% improved productivity, resulting in higher earnings per dig. Speaking at the launch, Ki Young Kong, Managing Director, Hyundai Construction Equipment India, said, “We have been operating in Indian market since 2007 and it is a key market for us. The range caters to the growing needs of the customers in various applications and markets in Indian CE space.”
Averred Dheeraj Panda, Head Marketing and Key Account Management, “As per our study of the market, the 20-22 tonne class of excavators captures about 50% of the total pie of the Indian market. Hence through the launch of the R210-7v and R210-9, we aim to provide a wider range to our customers in this segment.”
“Last year we touched the mark of 2400 machines across various segments with a growth rate of 23-24%, which is not only a testimony of customer delight but is also a strong vote of confidence of our customers in our products and technology,” he added.
Hyundai Construction Equipment India also plans to add more touch points to ensure quicker response to customer queries by way of additional 3S (sales, service and parts) offices through its dealers. The company is also adding few workshops through its dealers to offer solutions in the areas of reconditioned aggregates to its valued customers.
