Aisin Seiki to double revenue by 2018

The $32 billion Japanese auto component major, Aisin Seiki is expecting to double its revenue from India in the next three years. The company which has been operational in India since 2012, has two subsidiary companies: Aisin Automotive Haryana and Aisin Automotive Karnataka. The two companies have been divided on the basis of the auto components that are manufactured by the them.

Aisin mainly exports for Toyota in Europe and Suzuki in Thailand. The components are first exported to their group companies which is then supplied to the OEMs. Aisin Automotive Haryana (AAHL) is mostly into injection moulding and body components whereas Aisin Automotive Karnataka (AAKL) is into stamping and engine parts manufacturing. While AAHL services companies in North India such as Maruti Suzuki and Honda Cars, AAKL supplies components to OEMs like Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors and Toyota Kirloskar Motors.
