Ashok Leyland to Launch ‘Stile’ SCV in July

Ashok Leyland is set to launch its ‘Stile’ small commercial vehicle on July 16, 2013. 16, 2013. Nissan, the joint venture partner of Ashok Leyland in the light commercial vehicles business, has co-developed the Stile and unveiled at Auto Expo 2012. With the Stile, Ashok Leyland will now target a different class of customers – fleet, business-to-business and taxi segments. There will be differentiation between the two products in terms of styling, interior trim, drive train and seating capacity, with the marketing campaigns too, targeting the different segments. They will be sold through different sales networks. Ashok Leyland will take care of the commercial vehicles, while Nissan will sell the passenger vehicles.
