The BMW 520d M Sport with typical BMW M style and sporty genes presents the future-proof dynamics of the BMW 5 Series at its energetic best.”
Sporty elegance is the identity of the BMW 5 Series Sedan. The aerodynamics package and 18-inch M light alloys featuring a double spoke design contribute towards enhanced driving dynamics and an exceptionally powerful appearance. Powerful air inlets give the flow-optimised front apron more presence.
The latest generation BMW TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder diesel engine in the new BMW 520d M Sport has state-of-the-art fuel injection technologies for enhanced efficiency, as well as innovative turbocharging technology. The 1,995 cc diesel engine combines Common Rail direct injection and a turbo charger with variable turbine geometry to deliver a power output of 140 kW/190 hp and an impressive torque of 400 Nm. It takes just 7.7 seconds to sprint from 0 to 100 km/hr and the top speed is 233 km/hr.
The eight-speed Steptronic automatic transmission performs smooth, almost imperceptible gear shifts. At any time, in any gear, the transmission collaborates perfectly with the engine, enabling it to develop its full power and efficiency. For even greater driving pleasure, the eight-speed Steptronic transmission is available with steering wheel paddle shifters.
