BorgWarner celebrated the 15th anniversary of its manufacturing facility in Kakkalur, India. Originally established as a joint venture in 2002, the facility became a wholly owned BorgWarner entity in 2008. To meet growing demand for engine timing components for passenger cars, light commercial vehicles and motorcycles, the company intends to add 17,000 square feet of manufacturing and engineering space later this year. “As we celebrate 15 years of success in India, we look forward to continuing our growth with our latest expansion,” said Joel Wiegert, President and General Manager, BorgWarner Morse Systems. “We are excited to expand our locally produced product line with more advanced technologies designed to help customers meet new Bharat Stage VI emissions regulations,” added R.
