BorgWarner provides its award-winning regulated two-stage (R2S) turbocharging technology for Volkswagen’s new high-performance diesel engine. The 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine is the most powerful diesel engine in its class. Providing an output of 240 bhp and a maximum torque of 500 Nm, it achieves an average fuel economy of 44 mpg (5.3 liters/100 km).
