The new plant will be built in two phases, the first completing within the next two years, and no conformation on the second phase. Phase one will see the shifting of 1,000 employees from the existing plant to Bidadi, while whenever the second phase is completed, the remaining 3,000 employees will be moved. Terming the move to Bidadi as part of Bosch’s long-term investment plan for India, Steffen Berns, MD of Bosch Limited, averred that one of the reasons to build a new plant in Bidadi was to have more capacity, space and flexibility.
