The US-based auto compoent firm Cooper Standard has opened its new facility in Pune. Relocated from Sahibabad (Uttar Pradesh), the new 6,000-sq- ft facility comprises its India headquarters and technical centre. The new facility employs approximately 40 people and designs sealing components and fuel and brake delivery products. Cooper Standard, including its joint venture partners, now operates 32 facilities in the Asia Pacific region, including 11 in India, 13 in China, five in Korea, two in Japan and one in Thailand. Cooper Standard’s products include rubber and plastic sealing, fuel and brake lines, fluid transfer hoses and anti-vibration systems.
