Federal-Mogul Corporation has launched commercial-vehicle (CV) brake lining in the Indian market. These brake linings are made the company’s new plant in Mahindra World City, Chennai. The launch of Ferodo CV lining is being carried out in phases in India, focusing on key markets. As part of the first phase, the product line was launched across various markets in Mumbai. The remaining phases will witness the launch of this CV lining in other key regions across the country spanning over the next few months.

Ferodo CV linings are the product of an optimum brake block formula, developed over decades of research and testing. Each starts with the finest, most consistent friction materials and is produced via computer-controlled automation to meet tough standards for uniform quality. Made at a plant that will over the years manufacture additional friction products, the new brake linings are resistant to noise and shudder. They adhere to IS11852 brake standards.
