Hyundai Grand i10 facelift to be launched in India

India’s largest car exporter Hyundai Motor India will launch the facelift of its popular selling hatch Grand i10 in February 2017 confirms a source very close to the company. The car comes to India within 4 months of its global unveil in Paris in October 2016. We expected Hyundai to be aggressive and bring in the latest iteration of its popular hatch very soon. The car coming to India will host some major cosmetic upgrades and is likely to get a new face. The car will get a new front grille integrated with DRLs, new front and rear bumper and new tail lights. Hyundai Grand i10 will also get subtle interior changes, we don’t expect a huge change in the cabin but the car might get an updated infotainment system with navigation. The car will also continue to be powered with its existing 1.2L Kappa petrol engine and 1.1 U2 CRDi diesel engine. Only the petrol engine will continue to get the 4-speed automatic transmission variant. The Korean car manufacturer has sold a total of 97,292 units of its existing Grand i10 in April-November 2016 period in the domestic market.
