JBM Auto Ltd has launched the diesel version of its ultra-low-floor luxurious bus CITYLIFE. The bus has been designed keeping in mind Indian traffic and weather conditions. Some unique features include a monocoque structure to ensure maximum strength and minimum weight, matching European standards for safety in case of front/side collision and rollover accidents. It has also unveiled India’s first 100 per cent Electric Bus ‘ECOLIFE’ which was developed in association with European bus manufacturer Solaris Bus & Coach SA. ECOLIFE is a zero emission vehicle as it is powered by lithium batteries and runs 150-200 km in 10-15 hrs of city bus operation. This vehicle can also run on plug-in charging.
