Kalyani Group emerges as leader in protected vehicles segment

Kalyani Group has emerged as a leader in the protected vehicles segment. Its product profile boasts of vehicles like the armoured personal carrier, light bullet resistance vehicles, ultra-light strike vehicle, light armoured vehicle and the armoured troop carrier.
The Group’s flagship company Bharat Forge Ltd has recently bagged two major export orders in the Protected Vehicles segment. The first order of 10 numbers is for the 4 x 4 armoured personnel carrier, class II (STANAG 4569) for the UN missions of Indian Army, which is specially designed and built to meet specific requirements of forces operating in rough terrain and areas affected by mine blasts. Bharat Forge has bagged a big order to supply its ATC to an Asian country, a  uniquely designed vehicle built to provide logistic movements of troops in peacekeeping missions and forward areas.
