Mercedes-Benz launches GL 63 AMG in India

Mercedes-Benz recently announced the launch of GL 63 AMG ‘Luxury SUV’ in India at a price of Rs 1.66 crore (ex-showroom Mumbai). The SUV can accelerate to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. This car has a 5.5-litre bi-turbo V8 engine producing a staggering 550 bhp. The model has its guts pulled out and replaced with high performance bits made by AMG. Under the bonnet is a 7-speed G-Tronic transmission, which can features AMG SpeedShiftPlus. The entire car rides on air ride suspension, which features active damping and roll stabilisation. The car also features a Harman Kardon entertainment system that has two displays and 14 speakers, night view assist, GL body, and day-time running lights.
