Mercedes-Benz recently announced the launch of GL 63 AMG ‘Luxury SUV’ in India at a price of
Rs 1.66 crore (ex-showroom Mumbai). This car has a 5.5-litre bi-turbo V8 engine producing a staggering 550 bhp. The SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.9 seconds. The transmission is a 7-speed G-Tronic unit, with AMG SpeedShiftPlus. The entire car rides on air ride suspension with active damping and roll stabilisation. The car also features a Harman Kardon entertainment system.
