Skoda Auto India has launched the new Superb in India. A facelift, the new car flaunts redeslgned front and rear sections. The front now contains bi-xenon headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights and LED turning signals. The lighting system is also sensitive to the surrounding environment, differing in its sensitivity. The rear contour of the lights has been reinterpreted. The interior gets a new sports steering wheel. Known for its spacious interior and superlative comfort levels, the new Superb is powered by a 118kW, 1.8-litre petrol engine, and a 103kW 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine. Priced of the car start at Rs 18.87 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). Speaking at the launch in Delhi, Sudhir Rao, Chairman & Managing Director, Skoda Auto India said, “The introduction of the redesigned Superb is part of our ongoing model offensive strategy. The refreshed Superb is even more appealing than its predecessor and retains the features & comforts that our customers have become accustomed to. Our renewed focus towards customers will further add to the overall ownership experience with the brand.”
