PPAP is a leading manufacturer of automotive sealing systems, interior and exterior automotive parts in India. The company’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities are located in Noida (Uttar Pradesh), Greater Noida (Uttar Pradesh), Chennai (Tamil Nadu) and Pathredi (Rajasthan). All the plants are TS 16949, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certified. All the facilities are equipped with the latest technology available today for plastic extrusion as well as injection moulding.

The company was established in 1978 for the manufacture of custom made extrusion products. It commenced the automotive parts business in 1985 with the Maruti (Maruti Suzuki) cars started production in the Indian market.
The company was consequently listed on the Indian Stock Exchange (BSE/NSE) in 2008. The current share capital of the company is Rs 140 million. As on June 5, 2015, the market cap of the company is Rs 130.90 crore.

The company’s core competence is in polymer extrusion-based automotive sealing system and injection moulded products. The company has the capability to extrude up to four materials in the same profile according to customer specifications. It has the capability of processing engineering plastics like PVC, PP, ABS and TPO.

Today, the company manufactures over 500 different products for its customers and continuously targets to achieve zero ppm in quality and delivery performance for all its customers.

Over the years, PPAP has developed strong technology alliances with Japanese companies in order to cater to the ever increasing demands of its prestigious customers. In 2012, the company has ventured into EPDM rubber-based automotive sealing system by establishing a joint venture with its technology partner Tokai Kogyo Co, Japan. The company’s customers include manufacturers like Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, Honda Cars India Ltd, General Motors India Pvt Ltd, Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd, Renault Nissan Automotive India Pvt Ltd, Tata Motors Ltd, Ford India Pvt Ltd and Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd along with other OEMs. The company also caters the requirements of their respective Tier 1 suppliers.

Abhishek Jain is the Whole Time Director on the Board of PPAP. A Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, USA, Jain gained work experience in the US, and joined PPAP in 2003. Since then, he has been managing all the operations of the company. He has been an active executive of the Toyota Kirloskar Supplier Association for over seven years. Currently, he is a member of the executive committee of the Honda Suppliers Club.

Manish Dhariwal is the Chief Financial Officer of PPAP. A B Com (Hons) from Delhi University, he is a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has a work experience of over two decades, working with Lazard India, IL&FS and Group Mega in his previous assignments.
