Coming hot on the heels of the launch of the 250cc Inazuma motorcycle, the two models will find there way to the company’s display at the 2014 Auto Expo. Positioned above the current 150cc offering, the Gixxer flaunts sharp naked styling, and rides on telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Gixxer will be made available commercially in mid-2014. Made available in February 2014, Let’s produces 8.7PS

Both would be the brand ambassadors for Suzuki Motorcycle India. The prices of the two new models will be announced closer to their launch. An effort by the company to target price points in every segment, the company plans to increase its reach in the Indian market in 2014 by increasing its dealer network. Hoping for the two wheeler to be flat in 2014, with the scooters market continuing to record growth, the company would continue to focus on the mass volume models under 250cc even if it sells big bikes like the Bandit and Hayabusa in India. The Inazuma marks company’s first CKD build, and is positioned at the premium end of the 250cc motorcycle market.
