The German auto maker Vokswagen has put on hold its plan to launch the Polo and Vento, built on the MQB platform. The company was set to launch the new Vento and Polo range in the Indian market by 2018-19. Along with these product plans, a $500 million investment was also on the cards for improving its infrastructure, equipment and products. Volkswagen has revised its plans to work on the existing PQ25 architecture, which the Polo and Vento would be based on. The Volkswagen internally calls it the PQ26.
