With a traditional ceremony, BorgWarner celebrated the inauguration of its newest production plant in the Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate of Rayong, Thailand, in March 2018. With a total area of 69,965 square feet (6,500 square meters), the facility includes a leading-edge production line for advanced turbocharging solutions. BorgWarner, a global product leader in clean and efficient technology solutions for combustion, hybrid and electric vehicles, designed the plant to meet the growing demand in the expanding Southeast Asian automotive market along with global automakers based in the region.
Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd announced the introduction of the 73.5 kW (100 BHP) mHAWK engine in its T4+ and T6+ variants. To be available across Mahindra dealerships pan India with immediate effect, the TUV300 T4+ variant with mHAWK100 engine will be priced at Rs 8.02 lacs, whereas the TUV300 T6+ variant with mHAWK100 engine will be priced at Rs 8.59 lacs (ex-showroom Mumbai).
