New Delhi based Techno Engineers is all set to move ahead in its area of business from being an active player in the aftermarket to becoming a supplier to OEMs. In this interview, S K Dua, gives an insight about the company, and what makes it a leader in its field.

Tell us about Techno Engineers, its structure, etc.


Techno Engineers is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of car accessories. We have a sophisticated infrastructure to execute the manufacturing process in an efficient manner. Our unit is a spacious one that allows us to carry out business swiftly. The manufacturing facility is installed with advanced machines and equipment to offer the best quality range of products. Moreover, we ensure timely delivery of orders placed by clients. We have appointed a team of professionals to handle the unit in the most suitable way. These professionals are highly skilled and well aware of the latest techniques in the industry. The unit is divided into various sub-units for carrying out all the activities dexterously. These are R&D, Quality Inspection, Manufacturing, and Warehousing.

What are the products the company manufactures?

Our product range includes car door beadings, car foot mats, mud flaps (OE type), mud flaps (PVC), mud flaps for commercial vehicles, and car steering covers. The products are manufactured using superior quality raw material, which is resistant to any temperature. Our products are known for their smooth finish, elegant designs, and alluring colours. Apart from these, we also offer products to clients in different sizes, shapes, and other specifications as per their requirements.

Are these products manufactured locally or by contract manufacturers?

All products are manufactured at our infrastructure only. We do not depend on outsourcing or contract manufacturers.

What is the manufacturing set up like?

We have equipped our infrastructure with the all the modern facilities and amenities. The infrastructure facilities enable us to carry out production in a streamlined manner. Moreover, we have appointed a diligent team of professionals, which strives hard to offer excellent quality products to the clients within the predetermined time frame. Because of our qualitative range, we have occupied a remarkable position in the domestic market.

Does the company cater only to the aftermarket?

Yes, till date our company caters only to the aftermarket. But we are planning to develop some products for OE manufacturers. We have already signed a MoU with an OEM whose name we do not want to disclose at this juncture. The deal is likely to be closed by the end of this month.

What is the company’s marketing strategy?

The company has appointed marketing staff to market its products through distributors in almost all States of country.

How is the competition?

There is competition, and we always believe in healthy competition. We do not just run after sales, we also want to provide quality products to our clients, which adds value for money. Sometimes, this approach affects the revenue targets, but we have no regrets. In the long run, we will definitely achieve our goal.

What growth does the company expect to achieve in this fiscal (financial) year?

Like every company, we also nourish dreams of good growth. With the launch of new products in the market we hope to achieve 40 to 50 per cent growth in the next fiscal year.
