TC/American Crane Company has announced that they are now a member of the Crane Manufacturers Association of America (CMAA) after a rigorous approval process. By joining a reputed association such CMAA, TC/American is now part of an elite organisation of crane builders in the USA, as CMAA member companies comprise of the most innovative crane builders in the industry.
CMAA is an independent trade association affiliated with the United Division of Material Handling Industry of America. The voluntary association of CMAA members has existed since 1955.
As a leading manufacturer of patented track under-running bridge crane systems and monorails supplied to customers worldwide in the aviation/aerospace, foundry and heavy manufacturing industries, the CMAA platform allows the company to influence the next generation of crane builders with high quality design and performance.
TC/American is also a founding member of the Monorail Manufacturers Association (MMA) where valuable insight has been provided to TC/American through an affiliation with the material handling industry (MHI).
MMA operates through committees with programs and policies reviewed and adopted by the membership with representation from each member company. It has an active engineering committee and is represented on a number of standards developing committees, actively supporting the development and certification of safety standards by the ANSI consensus method.
TC/American along with other members of the CMAA represent industry leaders in the overhead crane market.
