Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd (TKM) recently announced the launch of its New Etios Cross, which was unveiled, in February, at the 12th Auto Expo, in Greater Noida. The New Etios Cross will expand the Etios family along with its existing models – Etios and Liva. The vehicle is extremely popular in Brazil and now will also be exported from India.
The new Etios Cross features a styling exterior look with bold front grille, side cladding, stylish diamond cut alloys, a sturdy-stylish roof rails, dynamic rear cladding with badging and roof spoiler, fog lamps with integrated turn indicators, rear defogger with wiper, and ORVM with turn indicators. This model has piano black interiors with white fabric sporty seats. Its interior also attracts with 2 DIN Audio with bluetooth, USB, AUX-in and remote, and audio control on leather wrapped steering wheel.
The model combines the rugged looks of an SUV with the easy drive, fuel efficiency and maneuverability of a Hatch. Being compact and spacious, the Etios Cross is best suited for urban usage, with its ease of parking and drivability. In terms of safety and quality, the new Etios Cross has ABS with EBD, collision absorbing body, driver and passenger airbag, anti corrosion steel sheet at areas prone to rusting, under body and anti chip coating. This new model is available in three powerful engine options, which includes 1.5 L (66KW (90 PS) @ 5600 rpm) and 1.2 L (59KW (80 PS) @ 5600 rpm) for petrol engine and 1.4L D-4D (50 KW (68 PS) @ 3800 rpm) for diesel engine.
The New Etios Cross is available in new sporty Inferno Orange and seven other colors- Ultramarine Blue, Classic Grey, Symphony Silver, Celestial Black, White, Vermilion Red and Harmony Beige. Along with a set of whole new exciting features, the Etios Cross is being offered in four grades which includes V (1.5L engine) priced at Rs 7,35,000/-, G (1.2L engine) at Rs 5,76,000/-, VD (1.4 L engine) at Rs 7,40,640/-, and GD (1.4 L engine) at Rs 6,90,432/- in the ex-showroom Delhi.
