Toyota Motor Corporation is recalling around 466,000 vehicles globally. Of these, close to 460,500 vehicles are in North America. The recall is to fix corrosion and brake pedal issues. The brake system is said to incorrectly detect the brake pedal force. The North American recall exercise involves 10,500 Lexus GS cars of 2013 make. They are in USA and Canada. The Lexus GS car recall will be followed by the recall of 2004 to 2011 model Sienna mini-vans in the cold climate salt belt regions. The Sienna models also seem to suffer from corrosion issues. Their recall will also include spare tyre assembly cable, which is caused due to faulty water splash protectors.
