Volkswagen launches Cross Polo at Rs 7.75 lakh

Volkswagen has launched a new version of Polo. The car is called the Cross Polo. Piced at Rs. 7.75 lakh, ex showroom, Delhi, the car has exterior changes to distinguish it from other Polo models. These include ‘Cross’ front and rear bumpers, black side cladding and wheel arches, which makes the car look more rugged visually. Adding to the ‘Cross’ looks is a grille with chrome accent. The mirrors are painted silver, the car flaunting roof rails and 5-spoke alloys. The rear doors come with Cross Polo decals. The head lights have ‘black’ finish. Windscreen, side and rear windows comes with heat insulation. While the galvanized body with 6 years anti-corrosion warranty, the interior comes with ‘Livon’ titanium black upholstery. The steering wheel and gearshift knob are leather wrapped. Even the parking brake lever. Apart from chrome trim accents, the car offers ‘Climatronic’ automatic air conditioning with dust and pollen filter, 2-Din RCD 320 music system with USB, Aux-in, SD Card, Bluetooth and 4 speakers, instrument cluster with tachometer, speedometer, odometer and trip odometer, multi-function display. Powering the Cross Polo is a 75PS, 1.2-litre TDI engine that produces a maximum torque of 180 Nm @ 2000 rpm. A 5-speed manual gearbox is part of the package. Safety features of the Cross Polo include ABS, dual frontal airbags, electronic engine immobilizer with floating code.
