Honda Activa becomes India’s highest selling two-wheeler of 2016
Honda’s Activa (an automatic scooter) became India’s highest selling two-wheeler of 2016 (for the 6 month period between January-June 2016) with a lead of over one lakh units over its nearest competition. Gaining lead as the India’s most preferred two-wheeler for commuting, Activa’s domestic sales stood at 1,338,015 units in 2016 (January-June 2016) compared to 1,233,725 units in the same period of 2015. Activa added a phenomenal 197,295 units over last year in just six months to be on the top.
